District 34A
District Governor is Patrick Lenhart.
Lions of North Alabama (District 34-A) serves the counties of: Blount, Cherokee, Colbert, Cullman, DeKalb, Etowah, Franklin, Jackson, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Marion, Marshall, Morgan, and Winston.
District 34B
District Governor is Sharon Rutherford.
Lions of Central Alabama (District 34-B) serves the counties of: Autauga, Bibb, Calhoun, Chambers, Chilton, Clay, Cleburne, Coosa, Elmore, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Jefferson, Lamar, Lee, Perry, Pickens, Randolph, Shelby, St. Clair, Talladega, Tallapoosa, Tuscaloosa, and Walker.
District 34C
District Governor is Jessica Kyser.
Lions of South Alabama (District 34-C) serves the counties of: Baldwin, Barbour, Bullock, Butler, Choctaw, Clarke, Coffee, Conecuh, Covington, Crenshaw, Dale, Dallas, Escambia, Geneva, Henry, Houston, Lowndes, Macon, Marengo, Mobile, Monroe, Montgomery, Pike, Russell, Sumter, Washington, and Wilcox.
Council Chair Craig Gadow
Craig Gadow of Cullman, Alabama, proudly serves as Council Chair for the Lions of Alabama. A dedicated Lion since joining the Cullman Lions Club in June 2015, Craig has served in numerous leadership positions at the club, district, and state levels. He previously served as District Governor of the Lions of North Alabama (District 34-A), where he championed membership growth, leadership development, service expansion, and Lions Clubs International’s Mission 1.5 initiative.
Originally from Ohio, Craig relocated to Alabama in 2010 and quickly became involved in serving his community. Throughout his Lions journey, he has been recognized for his commitment to leadership and service, earning the distinction of Melvin Jones Fellow and receiving an International President’s Certificate of Appreciation. He has completed the Regional Lions Leadership Institute (RLLI), Advanced Lions Leadership Institute (ALLI), and the USA/Canada Lions Leadership Program.
Professionally, Craig serves as a Cybersecurity and Network Operations Manager for Bonnie Plants, where he leads efforts to protect critical technology systems and information assets. His passion for leadership extends beyond the workplace, having also completed Authentic Leadership Training through Alabama Farmers Cooperative.
Craig is deeply committed to community service. He is actively involved with Home Street Home Ministries, supporting individuals and families experiencing homelessness. He is also a Deacon and technology ministry leader at the Cullman Church of Christ.
Craig and his wife, Christina, have dedicated much of their lives to helping others through foster care, welcoming more than 200 children into their home over a 15-year period. Together they have two children and five grandchildren.
As Council Chair, Craig is committed to supporting the Lions of Alabama through collaboration, leadership development, membership growth, and meaningful service that strengthens communities across the state. He believes that when Lions work together with purpose and passion, there is no limit to the lives they can impact through service.
EMERGENCY RESPONSE TRAILERS DELIVERED TO ALABAMA LIONS
Three state ALERT (Alabama Lions Emergency Response Team) trailers were delivered to Alabama Lions State Districts, A, B, & C.
The trailers will provide emergency personal items and cleaning supplies to areas affected by natural disaster on behalf of the Lions Club International Foundation. The trailers were a result of monies received via a grant from LCIF called “Disaster Preparedness.”
